I don't know the whole story but he said winchester didn't bill him for the wood and parts. I told him to replace anything gone or broke but to leave the marks. The wood was gone and some bent and broken parts but my best friend said it could be fixed. The truck was in three main pieces afterwards, the gun was not. The monday before Thanksgiving 02 he was killed in an accident with a train. In 02 we built the house and again back to the sport shop for the Hawkin he had been looking at. The grooved reciever was the deciding factor. I told him to pick one out and after 1 hour and 20+ guns it was down to the Henry or the Winchester. As I don't believe in charging or paying family for help, at the end of summer, I took my son who stated more than once he would like to have a lever 22 to the sport shop. Back in 2001 I started to build my dream log home project with my wife and 20 year old son Doug by building the garage first. There is a long story behind it that's not been told. The gun has had some issues and shows marks and such. I don't know anything as to how many were made or any info at all. :t The phone number for Winchester is 80 or 80 and you will need your model and serial number for them to look up your date.į7585XX 2003 - Magnum - Yellow Boy EditionįTS0052 2005 - WinMag High Grade Legacy Tribute If all the other 94/22 owners will contribute we should get a good database going and whenever somebody post a new number I can add it to these.
